Summer Entertainment

This Summer I want it to be the best summer of all time! To make it a fun summer, I want this to happen:

1) I want you to  wake  me up and make me pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, toast ,orange juice, fruit, and coffee for breakfast. I don’t want vegetables though.

2) Take me on a shopping spree.  Buy me all the things I want .

3) For Dinner ,I want an endless buffet with every kind of food from all over the world and I don’t want to get fat after eating all that food though.

4) Take me to go watch a Soccer game, a Football game, A Hockey game,  a Basketball game, and a Baseball game. And I want an autographs from ALL the players from Barcelona, Raiders, The Sharks, The Lakers, and The Dodgers.

5) After all the food, the shopping, the games, autographs the pictures. After all the excitement, I want to rest in the softest bed in the world and sleep and wait till morning comes to go visit my family and spend some time with them .

If all this happens to me over the summer, I will be the happiest person alive. It will be the best summer of all time, and an unforgettable Summer.

Dear Dad,

Dear Dad,

I wanted to write a letter to you  because you’ve taught me many things that helped me and that will help me later in life. You’ve taught me things that till this day, I still know what to do. You’ve been teaching me ever since I can remember. Your a very important part in my life and I would like to thank you for that.

Dad, you’ve taught me many things like how to write, how ride a bike, and most importantly how to play soccer. I still remember when I first wanted to learn hpw tp ride a bike. I was like 9 and I asked you if I could get a bike, and the next day we got it. I remember when you took me to the park to teach me. I remember the hill I would ride up and down from. I remember the day when I was ridding the bike, and I kept on pedaling and the next thing I knew I was riding by myself. That day is an unforgettable day.

I also remember the day when you first taught me how to play soccer. You were practicing in the backyard, and you asked if I wanted to learn. I said Yes imediatly and  since then we started playing soccer together.

Dad, you’ve taught me so much. Thank You for everything you’ve taught me. Your an important part in my life, and you will always be.

-Your Daughter,

Paloma

Challenge #6 ; My Identity

 Identity

Your identity is given everywhere. Where ever you go on the Internet, your being recognized. Your either being recognized  as a good person or a bad person. You can navigate the Internet safely in many ways. You can keep your website, or profile private so that people can’t see your personal information. If your being bothered or know someone who is being bothered over the Internet, immediately tell an adult so that they can do something about it.There’s at least one person who will help you or others out there.  Speak-up, one voice makes a difference.

There are several ways you can navigate the internet safely, but today i’m only going to list 5. The first way you can navigate safely is by not putting in any personal information. It is dangerous to put in your full name also . You can put only your first name, or a nickname. Putting your personal information can be really dangerous. The second way to navigate the internet safely is by choosing wisely. Many ads may appear while your doing research or something. try to avoid clicking on then, for they may be spam. The third way to be safe is by being aware. While your on the internet ,or a social network, you may meet  new friends , and talk about stuff, but be aware that they may not be who they really are. Inform your parent about your new friend and tell them what you know about them. Another way you can be safe is by being positive in the internet. Their are many bad people out there, but their are also good people. Be one of those good people who make a change in the community. The last way you can be safe is by following all this. You may not pay attention to this, but just be aware of all the dangers their are. Remember that one voice makes a difference.

-Blog Challenge #6

Blog Challenge #5

This weeks Blog Challenge  was to write about mainly our family. Today I will write about my family .

Family

What can I say about my family? Well their’s a lot of things. My family is the craziest family you can ever meet. Their cheerful, happy and friendly. My Mom, is a cheerful lady. She’s always laughing and when she’s not laughing, she’s smiling. She might get mad at times because of my siblings and I , but besides that, she’s really nice. My Dad, in the other hand, is very serous. He’s athletic and since I’m in his soccer team, he expects me to do my best . In fact, I do try my best, and because of that, I’m one of the best players on my team. They can be really strict at times, but I still love them both.

Now to talk about my siblings. I have one sister and one brother. Of course i’m the oldest. My sister is 10 years old. My brother is 3 years old. My brother is very unsteady. Whenever I’m practicing soccer or any other sport, he’s always there either looking at me or imitating me. When he’s old enough, I will teach him how to play soccer and other sports. He will be the best soccer player ever! My sister, however, is not interested in sports. She’s more interested in dancing and all those kinds of things. She’s not a very athletic person. She’s pretty good at soccer ,but she just doesn’t want to try the sport. As you can tell, my family has a little bit of soccer in their blood. In fact, we have a lot of soccer in our blood.

Blog Challenge #2

This week’s challenge we were given the option to write about whatever we desire. I decided to write about my parents and their sport history.

Ever since I was 7, I started playing soccer. I might have kicked the ball once in a while before that, but not in a real team. Both my parents played sports. My dad loved to play soccer. He played Goalie. He once told me a story of how a scout came to where he lived and started watching players. He said that he was one out of many goalies and that there were many players of all ages. He said that they trained for about  2 or more months and that little by little the players became less and less. He told me that he was one of the last people to stay and was about to get a shot at become famous but that he had to pick to either become famous or marry my mom. He decided to marry her and he says that he doesn’t regret anything. Well, my mom also played sports not just my dad. She played Basketball and also Soccer. She was the best in the team. She was the one that made most of the baskets, and she was the fastest one out of all. In Soccer, she was a forward. However, she wasn’t the best in the team, but her team was the best. her team was the best team in her league. They won many championships and finals. Unlike my dad, she wasn’t picked and scouted. She  had another carrier ahead of her. She was going to become a teacher but instead she decided to marry my dad. She then decided to raise a family instead of being a teacher. Today their both happily married. They have been raising a family of 2 girls and one boy. I’m the oldest of course, and the only one that plays sports. My brother is still too small to play a sport and my sister is to lazy. I play soccer like both my parents but I play middle and defender. My dream is to become famous and play in the world cup next to the best team in the world.

Challenge One: Who Am I?

This week my challenge is to write about 10 people, living or dead, that I would like to ask a question to.Here are my responses.

1) A Soldier : Why would your risk your life?

2) Abraham Lincoln: Why didn’t you free the slaves earlier?

3) The Pope : Why did you become the pope if you were goin to quit anyways?

4) Caveman: What was your biggest challenge of everyday?

5) Obama : What inspired you to become President?

6) Pele : How did you become the best known soccer player?

7) Parents: Why are you so strict to kids?

8) Bugs: Why do you annoy people?

9) Cats: How do you make your eyes change at night?

10) Peasants: How did you make a living at your village?

My Life as a Chinese Peasant(:

Living as a peasant in the Tang Dynasty Is a challenge. I work for a warlord. He owns all the land . I am a farmer and I grow melons , plums , and peaches. In my village, the warlord owns all the land and I work for him,but I can leave anytime. He also has serfs working for him. They cannot leave without permission. This is called feudalism. I moved from the west to the east because of the attacks of the barbarians. the name of the city is Luoyang and life is different. It different because unlike the country, the capital had temples, gem dealers, street acrobats, and many marketplaces.

Yesterday I met a man named Ts’ai Lun and he showed me an amazing new invention. The Chinese people usually write on bark taken from trees. He took a pile of rags that had been thrown away and first soaked the natural fiber which separated them in water. Next, he pulled them through a screen made of splinter bamboo fibers . After several more experiments, he gained new skills and his tapa dries quickly and is strong enough to absorb black ink. He told me that he met a man travelling from far away, a place called Europe., and that the man was going to take this invention back home with him. I think this new invention might just change how people do things everywhere.

Goodbye Bloggers :’(

Its almost the end of school here in our school. That means that this will be my last blog post that I will do.

I really, really enjoyed blogging and making new friends over  my blog. I really enjoyed it because It helped me make new friends and have the  chance to  have a blog. The ” Best” part of my experience was the new friends, the writing, and the  Challenges. I enjoyed everything about it. I would do this again, even if It meant writing a lot. this sort of made me a better writer in a way. It helped me with my vocabulary and spelling skills. I enjoyed many of the blogs  that I have visited. I will really miss some blogs that I liked like Bonnie’s , Ellie’s , and Sophie’s . I really liked their blogs because it made me  understand their  way of life and things like that. You should visit them. I have sort of learned new skills. One of them was the skill of making an new blog. My friend Cassidy made me make a new blog. Its really cool.

One positive experience  was,…..as I said before….everything. I  learned a lot from Sophie. I learned that she enjoys the same desserts as I do and that she has a lot in common as I do. As you know, I started a new blog. That blog was because of THIS blog. I made the  new one because I really liked the experience on this one. I did not have any comments from my family, but I did have comments from many friends. Almost ALL my best friends commented on my blog. So far I have at least 310 visitors. That is a little compared to my friend Letty. She had 4 thousand and something. In just one school year.

Well, this is the last blog post and I will really miss you all. I will also miss my blog.

Good bye , :(
